2018 Branch Projects Grants

2018-2019 MN Branch Projects Grant Information

AAUW MINNESOTA will award several Branch Project Grants during 2018-2019 to support branch projects that further the AAUW mission of advancing equity for women and girls. The Branch Project Grant Committee will consider the following criteria in rating the applications. 1. How does the project align with the AAUW mission and how will success be measured 2. How does the project fulfill a community, state or branch need 3. To what extent is there collaboration and what is their contribution

A total of $2,500 is available for Branch Projects Grants this year. AAUW MN will award small or larger grants but no grant will be greater than $500. Applications are due by August 20, 2018. Recipients will be notified by September 4, 2018. The recipients will be recognized at the 2019 state convention and may be asked to share information about their project or activity in a program session. AAUW MN anticipates that branch projects will be completed by August 1, 2019

Each branch that is awarded a grant is expected to write a short article for the MN State Program VP which can be shared in the Pine newsletter and/ or MN Web site.

Branch Name

Contact Person including name, address, phone number and E-mail

Amount Requested

A description of the project, including how the project will advance AAUW’s mission; the need you are addressing and how you identified the need; your target audience(s) and how you plan to reach them effectively; your project partners, if any; a project timeline; and criteria for success.

A brief summary of your project in 50 words or less that can be used for describing the project that was funded. Provide a proposed budget of projected expenses and revenue, including any other sources of funding.
